 About care4nepal:

Nepal is one of the underdeveloped counties and the average living standard of most people of this country is below the poverty line. As in many other under-developed countries, Nepal also has problems of child labor, lack of education, poverty and other child-related problems. More then 90% of people can’t send their child at boarding school and they sent at government school. Government schools are comparatively very poor in good education. But poor people has no alternatively to choose then the government school to sent their child for education and even they can’t afford to by necessary stationery, uniform and other school supplies that required for their child’s education and result come out with fair and be unable to go ahead for further education due to poverty and bad result.

This organization is non-profit, non political “charity organization” and official website of this organization is http://www.care4nepal.org The mission of this organization is to give an educational support for the destitute children and the main aim of care4nepal is to provide the opportunity of a decent education and in the long term enable them & support in terms of community development.

Care4Nepal believe that many individuals and groups, that know and love Nepal, are looking for ways to help the country develop and it is clear that good education for children and community developments are the major factors in achieving the long term sustainable development of the country.

Objective & Current Projects:

As a Non Government Organization, not for profit charitable, Nepali organization, care4nepal has as its objective, to provide year round educational support for poor , orphan and semi-orphan children from remote and urban part of Nepal. Its initial projects were followings

-          School Support:-

Through this activity care4nepal, supported local children of local village by giving required tuition fee, school uniform, school textbook, stationery etc. this project was done on 10^th May 2006, Wednesday by the support of Isara, Thailand base organization. Please

The entire above project was supported by Isara, Thailand base organization. Thanks to Mr. Kirk, founder of Isara, for making accomplished the projects successfully.

As you all know, Nepal is going through a lot of political instability right now. So I'm sure all of you who know & love Nepal are interesting to support and help. Thank you all for your continuing support.

Incidentally, Isara has stopped to support this project to continue due to lack of fund available. So care4nepal appeal that interested people/org is requested to support to complete this project for next five years. Under this project there are 15 children and more then other 100 children are identified. In lump sum we need US$ 150.00 per child per year and for 115 is US$ 17,250.00/Year. This amount covers whole year tuition fee, school uniform, textbooks, stationery etc

Care4nepal’s Immediate rquirements/Plans:-

Care4nepal has identified more then 60 children’s from five different schools from remote area, out of Kathmandu. For immediate support. Care4nepal hope these projects would be more popular as previous projects and all the children would say thank you to every donors and supporters. and care4nepal request to the interested people from the world to support of following projects. care4nepal believe that most of people who know and love Nepal are looking the best way to support and children get support directly in spot no doubt. The estimated cost for there two projects under the Project “School Support” are as following;
School Supports :- Under this supports car4nepal is planning to run two projects. One is to supply the stationery items and school uniform to the students and other one is to support tuition fees and textbooks.
1. Stationery and Uniform support for 60 children’’
Stationery items 1000*60 = 60,000.00
School Uniform 1500*60 = 90,000.00
Total NRS = 150,000.00
Total US $ is 2,380.00 to support 60 poor children for their school stationery and school Uniform.

2. School fee and textbook support for 60 children
School fee 12000/Year 60 = 720,000.00
School textbooks 1200/year*60 = 72,000.00
Total NRS = 792,000.00
Total US $ is 12,571.00 to support 60 poor children for their school fee (Tuition fee) and school Textbooks.

Care4nepal’s future plans:-

 It is care4nepal’s intention is to expand the above projects to facilitate 500 students through 20 different poor schools out of Kathmandu. Our present and future emphasis will be on the quality and breadth of the children’s education.

Our major problems faced by care4nepal is finding the reliable donor and children have faced frequent changes and been evicted from their own school due to lack of financial support. As its future plan problem care4nepal present you the different long term projects.

Community Support:-

Through this support care4nepal support to give vocational training for local youth at local village to generate their income source. Vocational trainings like plumbing, electricity wiring, computer, mechanical, beautician etc.

This support will go at urban villages and project will organize with the cooperation of local VDC. And this project will held once a year and minimum 10 people will select for every subject and hence care4nepal estimated US $ 10,000.00 per year to complete all the above mentioned vocational training. Local people will be main beneficiary of this project and after completion of this project they can be self-employed and can work as employ also in related field.

School Support:-

Through this support care4nepal support to those children who are totally orphan, semi orphan and very poor.

This is one of the best ways to support for needy children from all around the world. Under this program care4nepal select the needy children from poor school from remote area of Nepal. And do provide School supplies, Uniform, Textbooks, Tuition, and Stationery etc. care4nepal identified more then 150 needy children from 10 different schools, out of Katmandu and the estimated cost of per children per year is $ 500.00. Individual sponsors are heartily welcome to commit to sponsor the identified children minimum for 5 years and sponsorship fee per child per year is US $ 500.00 and onwards for 5 years.

 Library project;

 Nepal is one of the underdeveloped countries and under the poverty line. The villages of such countries are certainly unreachable easily; there is the problem of street and many others like good health, education and etc. Hence most of people living in villages come down to, Kathmandu for their further education. And they can’t afford to pay at boarding school and will have to admit at government school/college. The majorities are not capable to buy even their essential text books for further study and they use library of own school/college.

In contest of Nepal there are no good library facilities into Government College and schools. In sum I would like to establish a good library with very nice environment in the centre of Kathmandu so that those students can get maximum benefits who can’t afford to buy their text books and reference books as well. Care4nepal believes that all the people around the world who know and love Nepal would happy to contribute for this projects whatever they can, we accept Cash donation, books and other library related materials also.

The estimated cost for this project is about US $ 12,000.00. The budget includes; Furniture, One year space rent, computer, library card, Books, one year staff salary, miscellaneous etc.
